Peggy started in the industry in the spring of 2004 to help at her sisters garden centre, Pat’s Plants & Gardens for two weeks. This was the start of a passion she didn’t realize was missing. Five years later in 2009 she became the Green House Manager. Since then the business has grown in size, with the expansion of the custom planter division which Peggy does herself. With experience in marketing, Peggy has taken on the responsibility of the social media marketing initiatives. Finding that there was information available provincially and nationally, but not clearly advertised to all garden centres she wanted to become involved the the provincial association to help get this information out. In 2011 Peggy was elected to participate on the board of LNL as the Grower representative. In May of 2013 she took over the position of Garden Centres Canada representative. She held this title until Oct. 2018. At present she holds the position of President of LNLHA (2018), the CNLA's NL Provincial representative(2016) and a member of the PDC (2018).
