David is the owner and president of Weed Maritimes, a lawn care business that operates in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Prior to operating Weed Man Maritimes, David was a corporate lawyer with BoyneClarke LLP, a law firm in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He is active in his community and currently serves as a Governing Council member of the MacEachen Institute of Public Policy at Dalhousie University and the Chair of the Dartmouth Book Awards. David is a board member of Landscape Nova Scotia and past president, and board member and chair of Plant Health Atlantic. David lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with his spouse Kate and children Maya and Portia.
